Production
Social documentary, installation and performance combining digital production techniques in the visual and audio arts. We specialise in micro-docs, short-format documentaries made with anything for every one, screened any where.
A sample of in-house and partnered productions include:
- TONG TANA: A fusion cabaret designed as a structured improvisation and performance-based installation. In production.
- Nailing The Commons: Identifying the commons. A joint apc.au and APC micro-docs production with assistance from the former iCommons.
- Nothing Known: A quasi anthropological study of loss of culture, tradition and native title within indigenous Diaspora, in particular the Bidayuh and Kenyah of Sarawak, Malaysia.
- Border Song Installation: A single channel real-time space by John Power and Andrew Garton towards a live Machinima. The work is a response to the theme of Statelessness. The real-time space was authored, and runs in, the Epic Games’ ‘Unreal Tournament 2004’ Engine.
- VIDEO SLAM: An open rights management workshop for screen culture practitioners developed in association with OPEN CHANNEL with the support of the Creative Commons Clinic.
- Inside APC: Introductory video about the Association for Progressive Communications.
- Make Training Work for You: Introductory video for itrainonline.
